The Don Gorge Strategic Partnership and the Don Gorge Community Group have secured funding through Yorkshire's Rural Community Council to produce an education pack specific to the Don Gorge.

 

The pack, which is aimed at years 1-6, is comprehensive, covering all elements of the national curriculum through a wide range of exciting and interactive activities.

 

The Don Gorge Education Pack is available below as a free download, for use by teachers, group leaders and families.

 

An event to mark the launch of the pack was held on June 5th 2008 - World Environment Day - at the Boat Inn, Lower Sprotbrough when around 30 teachers, group leaders and other interested people learned how to use the pack. 

 

Copies are held in libraries around the area and activity pages can be photocopied as required.
